My First Ever Photo Exhibition: America’s Wild: A Study in Light and Shadow

I held my first ever photo exhibition! What started as a dream tucked away in quiet moments has now come to life, and I’m still processing the joy, gratitude, and overwhelming support I felt throughout the event.

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who came out to see my work. Whether you stayed for five minutes or an hour, your presence meant the world to me. Seeing people engage with my photos, ask thoughtful questions, and share their own perspectives was incredibly rewarding. It reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place. Its power to connect us, to tell stories, and to capture emotion in the stillness of a frame.

To my family, friends, and mentors: thank you for believing in me, encouraging me, and helping me make this exhibition happen. From kind words to helping hands, I couldn’t have done it without you.

To those who couldn’t make it but sent messages or shared their support from afar, I felt it all, and I’m deeply grateful.

This exhibition was just the beginning, and I’m so excited for what comes next. Thank you for being part of this journey with me. A special thank you to Grant, Rene, and Laura at Grant’s Frames in Tulsa, Oklahoma for making this happen.

Thank you,

Stephanie
